What President in his right mind would authorize an attack on any mom as a woman who "never worked a day in her life"?  How could the brilliant campaign strategist Obama shoot himself in the foot when the War on Women was going so well for him?

Ann Romney's oldest son Tagg was baffled why anyone would attack his mom when he was interviewed by Hugh Hewitt about growing up in the Romney home.  Ann stayed home and raised their five sons and now has the joy of 16 grandkids. 

In a word: the White House decision to attack Ann Romney was personal.  To understand it, we need to look at two Anns: Ann Romney, and Obama's mother, Ann Dunham.

Calming The Storm of Martin/Zimmerman Related Racial Violence

As a black conservative Tea Party patriot, I have been struggling with what I should do, if anything, in response to the rash of incidents of racial violence resulting from the Martin/Zimmerman case. Folks, a great evil is running the show in our country right now.

Prolific race-hustler Al Sharpton is heralded as a hero.  Attorney General Eric Holder ignores the New Black Panther “dead or alive” bounty on George Zimmerman. Three major TV networks are caught manipulating facts of the Martin/Zimmerman case to fuel racial hatred and anger. Minister Farrakhan tweeted referring to the Martin/Zimmerman case, “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon and very soon, the law of retaliation may very well be applied.”

Even a nut case white supremacist group have thrown their hat, or skinned heads, into the ring, threatening violence.

Rather than showing pictures of 6'3” seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin, nearly every TV news broadcast features pictures of Trayvon as an adorable little boy in his little league football uniform. This is done by design to further the media's storyline: innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man. Zimmerman is not white. He is Hispanic. To further the mainstream media storyline, the New York Times has deemed Zimmerman, a “white” Hispanic.

I do not know what transpired between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. I do know that the Race Industry has gone to extraordinary, dishonest lengths to promote its innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man storyline.

Even president Obama despicably and masterfully fueled the flames of racial hatred by saying, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon”. As a seasoned professional politician, president Obama surely knew his comment would up the ante of black rage.

So yes, as Christian and as patriot, I wondered, what should I do to help calm the storm of Martin/Zimmerman related racial violence? Should I rally black conservatives to denounce the violence and call for unity at a press conference? No, the liberal biased mainstream media would not cover such a press conference. Non-victim-minded blacks do not fit the media-desired image of America. Blacks who love their country without resentment toward fellow Americans who are white are as repulsive to the mainstream media as showing Dracula the cross.

Well, what about a racial peace rally – blacks and whites standing together, singing songs and talking about unity. No, Obama's SEIU thugs and/or the New Black Panthers could exploit the event by showing up to assault patriots.

Remember Kenneth Gladney, the black conservative who was beaten and sent to the emergency room by SEIU thugs at a town hall meeting during the health care debates? Many believe Gladney's beating was in response to Obama White House's clarion call to “push back twice as hard” and get in the faces of those opposing Obamacare.

The mainstream media will never tell the truth about black-on-white crime. When reporting incidents of black-on-white violence, the media walks a tightrope, bending over backwards to avoid mentioning race. And yet I heard a report on the radio in which the reporter, without hesitation, up front and in your face said five “black” men were shot by a “white” male in a white pickup truck. This type of story fits the racist image that the media desires to portray of white America. According to the media, blacks are ALWAYS the victims and never the aggressors. 

So how do we right-thinking, decent Americans counter all the racial hate, evil and violence, fueled by media and the Obama administration, that's contaminating our great country?

Mary is away, up north visiting family. Thus, I found myself in the grocery store checkout line with my shopping cart one-third full. An elderly white gentleman in line behind me had two items. “Excuse me sir – you can go in front of me.” He gleefully replied, “Thank you very much.” After the cashier had bagged his items and given the elderly white gentleman his change, he thanked me again.

I thought, that's it! For now, until God leads me otherwise, I can simply continue doing what I, along with millions of my fellow Americans, do every day: seize every opportunity to spread racial harmony and kindness. I know that sounds corny, but I know it is the right thing to do.

Despite what the Race Industry would have you believe, a majority of Americans are not at each other throats, divided along racial lines. However, this is unquestionably the agenda of the Race Industry. Incidents of race related violence are on the rise since the Martin/Zimmerman incident.

Most Americans are over “the race thing.” Americans live, work and play together just fine. Interracial marriage is far from being the big deal it was in the past. Unfortunately, it is the mission of the mainstream media, the Obama administration and race profiteers to keep the Race Industry alive and profitable. These people (race instigators and exploiters) are evil.

Therefore, it is up to us – proud responsible Americans – to continue sowing seeds of racial harmony, brotherhood and peace.

AGU: An Open Letter to Coco Lederhosen (@conor64)

Dear Mr. Lederhosen,

Your readers trust you. For all their cynicism about politics, they believe that you're different: not just another Venice Beach know-it-all with odd Bohemian ideas and a commitment to misinforming regular Americans. You've used that trust to ask homemakers, retirees and small businessmen and women to believe the obsessive nonsense and Obama propaganda you write.

Last summer when The Undefeated opened you deliberately misinformed your readers with an article about the film opening to empty theaters.

However.

On a per screen basis citizen activism helped The Undefeated hold it’s own against Harry Potter, The Transformers, and Winnie the Pooh.

Even the Los Angeles Times was so impressed by the ability to use practically no marketing money, they conceded:

“This is a new model that is going to benefit the entire entertainment industry and audiences who want to see unique products“

But this isn't how you informed your trusted readers.

You wrote an article bragging that you spent the evening peeping on two teenagers making out in the back of an empty theater.

Only at the very end of your article did you inform your readers that this was a special midnight showing of the film prior to opening day.

Sure, you've written slightly true articles in the past. But you deliberately continue to misinfom your trusted readers with half truths, distortions, and intentional perversions of reality.

Why would any reader trust you as a steward of honest information again?

These fresh ideas and issue's have inspired thousands of Americans to get involved in the political process and bring about real change.

In the 2010 election cycle alone concerned citizen actvists inspired by Sarah Palin and the efforts of SarahPAC brought victory to over 67% of Governor Palin's endorsed candidates.

Some of these include: 1 Secretary of State, 2 Attorney's General, 6 Senators, 7 Governors, and 37 House Representatives.

Thats real change and that is why ordinary every day Americans are inspired by and donate to SarahPAC.

You lied to your readers by telling them that Sarah Palin went to Disney World on the donors dime. Failing to mention that Governor Palin was at the resort raising in excess of $900K for the Florida GOP (pretty impressive in a non election year) is misleading, dishonest, and deceptive to your readers.

FYI: with only $967.34 for lodging, that is a 1000% return on investment.

That is the truth. But you don't seem to care about truth when it comes to your readers.

Did you think you'd get away with this just because the liberal media is curiously silent when unpopular movement writers shamelessly fleece the rank and file?

For the sake of your readers, please do not reply in writing.

AGU Introduced and Showcased

Schmitz gave a brief history of American Grizzlies United (AGU), which was founded by Karen Allen in 2010. Organize4Palin (O4P) and Students4Palin (S4P) are both projects of AGU. O4P and S4P helped Gov. Palin's endorsed candidates by phone banking, walking precincts, installing signs on buildings and in the earth, and doing street visibility sorties. These volunteers, then documented their activities on various O4P and Palin-related sites. S4P grooms like-minded college students to be citizen activists and take the plunge into public service. "AGU is a grassroots organization dedicated organizing, educating, and training volunteers for American political elections. The O4P project helps candidates [who] are endorsed by Sarah Palin, and...AGU helps candidates endorsed by you, the people," Schmitz said.

AGU Resources

AmericanGrizzlies hosts a candidate list and resources for volunteers to use, specifically The Grizzly Doctrine and the Citizen Activism Guide.

"The Grizzly Doctrine: A Crib Sheet is an original manuscript. It provides a framework for discussion about honest, ethical policies. It's very basic. All Americans should expect this from our leaders. It doesn't just cover issues that Americans are concerned with. The manuscript helps educate ordinary citizen volunteers on the best way to approach potential voters, because it's so important to talk to people and to discuss the candidate's positions," Schmitz said.

"The Citizen Activism Guide showcases volunteerism, vetting, and organizing for your precinct," he said. Both resources are available as a free PDF download on the AGU website.

"We encourage people to use the resources to vet and help down-ticket candidates, who put country first, who understand that energy independence is a key element to our security, to our economic security, and a betterment that all Americans want and deserve; candidates [who] believe in American exceptionalism, and just good candidates who understand that above all our foreign policy should be founded in our national interests and not the interests of others," Schmitz said.

AGU Reviving Citizen Activism

Schmitz encouraged everyone to check the candidate list and the resources and start helping a candidate "you feel moved by." He said the AGU model has been highly successful and people have been contacting AGU asking how to help these down-ticket candidates. "It is really encouraging to see regular citizens calling us, texting us to get involved in the political process and bringing about real change. We don't really teach our children civics anymore, so this was kind of a refresher course for a lot of us," Schmitz said.

Scholla asked Schmitz which of the candidates he saw as being rising stars. "They're all stars...they're really putting it all on the line for their country," Schmitz said, but he noted that Josh Mandel, OH won his Senate primary. Now, Mandel is campaigning with Marco Rubio against Sen. Brown.

On the Importance of Down-Ticket Races

Scholla said there is a tendency to over-focus on the large national races and to neglect the smaller local ones. AGU, therefore, helps these lower-level candidates. Schmitz said that while everyone tends to focus on the Presidential race, we need to take the Senate and retain the House to ensure that whoever becomes the next President is working with common-sense Constitutional conservatives. The restoration to our founding principles must happen at all levels of government, Schmitz said.

Schmitz is a "born and raised native Californian who has gone through the various degrees of political activity" for his entire life. He's been very involved, complacent, and once again fully involved. He had been O4P's California State Coordinator and was appointed to AGU's Board of Directors in November 2011, and elected Chairman of the Board the following month.

Many Candidates' Ideas, Platforms Come from Sarah Palin's Facebook Page

"Why is it so important to keep Gov. Palin's message alive?" Scholla asked. He continued, "even if she is not running for office, I think she has tried to explain that to a lot of folks but some people think 'like well if you're not a candidate, we look to other things,' but isn't the reason a lot of us support Gov. Palin - it's her values, it's what she believes in? Is that what we're looking for in a lot of these other candidates?"

Schmitz responded, "oh absolutely, because it's restoration, not transformation that our country needs, and I think concerned citizens get that, and I also think many people running for office get that too - from the down-ticket all the way to the GOP Presidential field. Many of the ideas and platforms coming from these candidates can be found on Sarah Palin's Facebook Page....she's made a really big impact on this race across the board - outside of the race.

All 2008 Archives Have Disappeared From Jefferson's Rebels Blog

Note to conservative bloggers.  If you're using Blogger, check your archives to see if postings have disappeared from your site.

Yesterday I attempted to search my site for an image used in 2008.  Much to my surprise, I noticed that everything published in 2008 has completely disappeared from my website.

I started Jefferson's Rebels in late 2007. Postings from 2007 are still archived, as is everything from 2009 through today, but all 2008 articles have evaporated into thin air.

2008 was an election year, and as I had many reasons to be concerned about Obama's candidacy, I published a lot of material regarding his background and discussed issues regarding his eligibility.

It is worth remembering that Google employees donate to, are linked to, and some are even employed by, the Obama administration.  Secondly, Google owns Blogger.  Is there a concerted effort to delete history from conservative challengers' sites?

I've posted a query in Google groups, but so far no one has attempted to answer my question.  If anyone else has had a similar experience, I'd love to hear from you.  Is my blog a lone exception with a logical answer to the problem, or is an unnoticed trend taking place?

Barack Obama is very dangerous, the apotheosis of an insidious strain of authoritarianism that destroys freedom from within.

Like an invasive species, it had been gnawing away at America's vitals since the 1930s. Then, impatient for power, Obama's Chicago contingent hit upon the ultimate quick-acting fraud — capture the White House by electing an illusion.

They conjured up an imaginary Obama invested with virtues never before or since found in the original. The make-believe Obama then starred in an electoral fairy tale scripted by the media and proclaimed a hit by bewitched voters.

Thus did it come to pass in the year 2008 that Americans were duped into electing a president quite different from the illusion for which they voted.

The real Barack Obama is a steely-eyed autocrat, dedicated to expanding his power at the expense of our liberty, still a bit of a Marxist, alternately hostile to or agnostic about capitalism, and intent on transforming America into a government-controlled society composed of obedient automatons.

The lights of personal and economic freedom in America are starting to flicker. If Obama gets a second term, they will go out. As Charles Krauthammer said, Obama "will take the country to a place from which it will not be able to return."

'Eerie Silence' From Eric Holder On New Black Panther Party Bounty Call

Zimmerman family challenges Holder on New Black Panthers, says no arrests 'based solely on your race'

In a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday, obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, a family member of George Zimmerman asked the nation’s top law enforcement officer why he has chosen to not arrest members of the New Black Panther Party for their rhetoric — some of which may fit the federal government’s definition of a hate crime — throughout the Trayvon Martin case.

The family member believes the reason Holder hasn’t made those arrests is because he, like the members of the New Black Panther Party, is black.

“I am writing you to ask you why, when the law of the land is crystal clear, is your office not arresting the New Black Panthers for hate crimes?” the family member wrote to Holder.

“The Zimmerman family is in hiding because of the threats that have been made against us, yet the DOJ has maintained an eerie silence on this matter. These threats are very public. If you haven’t been paying attention just do a Google search and you will find plenty. Since when can a group of people in the United States put a bounty on someone’s head, circulate Wanted posters publicly, and still be walking the streets?”

The New Black Panthers have issued ultimatums to the Sanford authorities, saying they want Zimmerman arrested “dead or alive.” They have placed a bounty on Zimmerman’s head, and have called for the building of an army of vigilantes to track him down and effect a citizen’s arrest.

Most recently, the New Black Panther Party has called for violence.

In a conference call recorded over the weekend, the militant group said it planned to “suit up and boot up” and prepare for the next stages of the “race war.”
