"Obama was under the tutelage of a pedophile [father] for eight years"

Obama's Ultimate Cover-Up
By Cliff Kincaid
TrevorLoudon.com
July 30, 2012

Obama biographer David Maraniss wrote an 1139-word article, “The Audacity of Doubt,” for The Washington Post on Sunday that purported to be a refutation of what some critics have been saying about the President. Maraniss focuses mostly on questions about Obama’s religion and place of birth and pretends to have the answers.

However, Maraniss ignored the fact that the critics were right four years ago when they identified communist Frank Marshall Davis as Obama’s mentor in Hawaii and the mysterious “Frank” from Obama’s book, Dreams from My Father.

Maraniss had written a 10,000-word piece for the Post in 2008, when the information could have made a difference in the campaign, ignoring this critical fact. He told me in an email that he had ignored Davis because he had somehow concluded that Davis didn’t have much of an impact on Obama.

The Maraniss piece, “Though Obama Had to Leave to Find Himself, It Is Hawaii That Made His Rise Possible,” ran in the August 22, 2008 edition of the Post.
Not content to slink away with egg on his face for ignoring the story of the century, Maraniss spent years working on a book about Obama, thinking the public would regard it as definitive. He is suffering under a delusion.

Since Maraniss wants us to believe he dwells on “facts,” here are some inconvenient facts about Davis before we get into the tawdry and highly personal side of the Obama-Davis relationship:

The Climategate and Jerry Sandusky Scandals: A Common Thread
By T. S. Weidler
AmericanThinker.com
July 31, 2012

America, it's time to meet your newest top-secret government employee: a professional cover-up artist with a radical agenda.

Graham Spanier is the former Penn State University president who was fired during the Jerry Sandusky investigation for failing to properly investigate Sandusky when the pedophilia allegations first surfaced.

Spanier's "investigation" of Jerry Sandusky was so thoroughly inept that it got him fired.  When it was completed, Spanier stated that he had "complete confidence in how they have handled the allegations against Sandusky," and he was fired very shortly thereafter.  The recent Freeh report indicates that the investigation was conducted for the purpose of finding nothing.  In other words, it was a cover-up.

It wasn't the only time Spanier rigged an inept investigation for the purpose of finding nothing.  In 2010, his investigators found that Penn State climatologist Michael Mann had done nothing wrong when he invented his "hockey stick trick," to "hide the decline" and lend false credibility to climate change theory.  The difference between the Mann investigation and the Sandusky investigation is that one covered up a sex offender and the other covered up a fraud.

SCREWED!! Banks Will Be Forced To Make Racially-Based Loans To People Unable To Pay The Money Back

And You Thought the Housing Crisis Was Over!
By William Tucker
The American Spectator
July 27, 2012

Do you remember that thing about how the banks wouldn't lend to blacks and Hispanics because they were racists? And do you remember how they passed the Community Reinvestment Act so that banks were forced to reduce down payments practically to zero and lend to a lot of people they knew were bad credit risks? And do you remember how Wall Street bundled all these risky subprime mortgage and sold them to investors around the world so that when it became clear that those people weren't going to be able to pay their mortgages banks everywhere were left holding the bag and all five of the Wall Street investment houses either went under or had to be bailed out by the federal government?

And do you remember how, when it was all over, liberals said it was actually the banks' fault for "deceiving" all those people into thinking they could afford to buy homes and that the banks should be punished for it and some of those people be allowed to keep their homes anyway? And do you remember how all this cost the government close to a trillion dollars and put the whole economy in a hole that we really haven't begun to dig ourselves out of yet?

Well, get ready because the whole thing is about to happen again.

Yes, believe it or not, the federal government is now starting another initiative to force banks to lend to low-credit-rated blacks and Hispanics -- not just anybody but specifically blacks and Hispanics -- and is threatening -- and already imposing -- huge punitive fines if they don't.

8 Ways Blacks Perpetuate Racism and the Only Way to Thwart It
By Walter Hudson
PJMedia.com
July 17, 2012

It shouldn’t matter that I, an author with the audacity to select such a title, am black. The arguments presented should stand or fall on their objective merit. Nevertheless, I declare my racial identity at the outset to defuse any prejudice readers may bring regarding the motivation behind this piece. Indeed, it is in part because I am black that the following must be said.

All things considered, blacks and the civil rights culture surrounding them are the most open and prolific purveyors of racism in America. This is an ironic travesty which spits upon the graves of history’s abolitionists and offends all who are committed to a dream of equality under the law and goodwill among men.

Surely, such a claim is provocative. Unfortunately, it is also demonstrable.

Obama Is The Dhimmi President of the U.S., According To Trevor Loudon

Posted on 5:28 AM by Unknown
Trevor Loudon says “I'm a libertarian activist and political researcher from Christchurch New Zealand. I believe in freedom with responsibility, not freedom from responsibility. My ideal society is one in which government is confined to protecting its citizens from criminals and external enemies. I believe in working with all those who are moving in broadly the same direction. The views expressed in this Blog are strictly my own.” Trevor is also the founder and editor of KeyWiki.org, a rapidly growing website with the goal of unlocking the covert side of U.S. and Global politics."

Although Trevor lives in New Zealand, his blog details the activities of socialists, communists, and Islamists living and working in the U.S.  He has just completed a speaking tour in Oklahoma.

In this video Trevor uses irony to express his views about Islam, their attitudes and behavior towards Christians, and President Obama's dhimmi presidency.

Gay Pride Parade: Demeaning The Uniform For Political Gain

Sen. Inhofe: Obama forced military to abandon 'apolitical stance'
By Melissa Quinn
DailyCaller.com
July 25, 2012

Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe told The Daily Caller he believes President Barack Obama pressured the military into granting an unprecedented exception to rules that prohibit participation in political activities while in uniform.

The Defense Department authorized a waiver to allow uniformed service members to march in last weekend’s San Diego gay pride parade, overriding a Defense Department directive‘s specific rules against uniformed service members’ participation in political events.

“The Department of Defense isn’t allowing this to go on, it’s the president,” Inhofe said in an interview with TheDC. “The secretary of defense answers to the president, and the military answers to the commander in chief. Clearly this is Barack Obama.”

In a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Inhofe asked for an explanation of the decision.

“This apolitical stance has served our military well and earned the respect of not just Americans but nations around the world as being a professional organization, set aside from policies and agenda,” Inhofe wrote.

The Pentagon officially said military members could march in their dress blues and whites because the parade was garnering “national attention.”

This is the first time in Inhofe’s 25 years in Congress the Department of Defense has issued a waiver to override the directive, he said.

Obama's 1980s Marxist Friend Sets The Record Straight

Sanitizing Obama's Radical Past
By John Drew
AmericanThinker.com
July 24, 2012

A striking clash between those who feel a profound duty to report that the young Obama was nurtured by Marxists, socialists, and Communists and those who think it is a better idea to erase this information from the public record is on display in two current books.  One book provided key politically significant details of a heated debate I had with the young Marxist-Leninist Obama over Christmas break 1980.  The other book only confirmed that young Obama and his roommate were both in my vicinity at the time.  The gap between how Paul Kengor covered Obama's Christmas break in The Communist and how David Maraniss covered this same moment in Barack Obama: The Story is chilling.

As an eyewitness to young Obama's Marxist-Leninist ideology, I count myself among those who think it is our duty to report the truth about young Obama, especially if it helps us understand the persistent, contemporary influence of Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist who became young Barack Obama's mentor.  I do not think it is any exaggeration to suggest that in the long run, the mainstream media's failure to confront the reality of young Obama's ideological extremism is almost as important than the reality of Obama's tenure in office.

Salon Contributor Eric McHenry Obfuscates Obama's Biography & Supposed Writing Talents

What the Media Won't Say About Frank Marshall Davis
By Jack Cashill
AmericanThinker.com
July 24, 2012

Salon contributor Eric McHenry will likely be surprised to find himself categorized as "the media," but his omissions and evasions about Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis so impressively mirror the major media's that he deserves the honor.

What drew my attention to McHenry's recent article in Salon, "Obama's Oddest Critic," is that yours truly is the "critic" in question.  According to the subtitle, "Jack Cashill is obsessed with the president's college poetry and positive it proves his life is 'one massive fraud.'"  In that exactly none of my most recent 100 articles is about Obama's poetry -- and only a few even mention it -- I doubt I rank high on anyone's obsession index other than McHenry's.

The reason I mention the poetry at all is to shed light on the young Obama's relationship with Davis, his Hawaiian mentor.  In my early writing on Obama's literary talents, I took him at his word that he wrote some "very bad poetry" and largely ignored the two radically different poems he submitted as an Occidental College undergraduate, the cringe-worthy "Underground" and the more complex "Pop."

It was my co-conspirator Don Wilkie who prompted me to take another look at the latter poem.  "I have read 'Pop' now maybe 20 or 30 times," Wilkie wrote me a few years back, "and I think it is about Obama telling us that 'Pop' really is, his pop."

Evidence Supports Michele Bachmann's Concerns About Infiltration of US Government By Muslim Brotherhood Sympathizers

In Fight Against Domestic Terror, DC Establishment Attacks The Real Enemy: Michele Bachmann
By Virgil
Breitbart.com
July 23, 2012

The State Department official is accused of being connected to a vast foreign conspiracy, hostile to America.  The official denies it, as the Establishment rallies around the accused official. Indeed, Establishmentarians not only dismiss any possibility of the official’s guilt or complicity, but they also ferociously denounce those who raise the possibility. After all, the official is a part of the in-group; it just isn’t possible to think that the official could do anything wrong. The Establishment is thus united around the proposition that the accused official is a good person, and that the accusers are bad people. And anyone who deviates from that orthodoxy risks being thrown out of the Georgetown-to-Manhattan golden circle of status and respectability.

Am I describing the case of Huma Abedin, the aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton?  No, I am describing the case of Alger Hiss, back in the 1940s. Hiss, who spent a decade working in the State Department, was accused of being a Soviet spy by Whittaker Chambers in 1948. And Chambers’ charges were brought before the Congress by a young House freshman, Richard Nixon.

President Harry Truman, called the charges against Hiss “a red herring”--that is, bogus. And he was joined by the rest of the Establishment, which, after two decades of the New Deal and Fair Deal, was solidly liberal and immune to the thought that a liberal could really be a communist.

Yet the evidence against Hiss--the so-called “pumpkin papers” cited by Chambers and Nixon--proved to be strong, and so he was indicted on perjury charges in 1949. Even then, liberal luminaries of the day, such as Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter and then-Illinois governor and future presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson, appeared on Hiss’s behalf in his trial as character witnesses. The following year, 1950, Hiss was convicted of perjury--that is, convicted of lying about his deep involvement in Soviet espionage--and sent to federal prison.  Yet even then, Secretary of State Dean Acheson declared, “I will not turn my back on Alger Hiss.”  Now that’s solidarity, Establishment-style.

Beyond the Hiss case, what was happening around the world during the previous five years?  Was it possible to argue that Hiss’s masters in Moscow had benefited from their help in Washington? It was more than possible.

Keith Ellison (D-MN): Muslim Brotherhood Infiltrator?

Keith Ellison (D-Muslim Brotherhood) whitewashes his own links to Brotherhood and Hamas-linked CAIR
By Patrick Poole
PJMedia.com
July 22, 2012

In "Rep. Keith Ellison Rewrites History on his Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR Ties," at PJ Media, July 21, the peerless investigator Patrick Poole uncovers Rep. Keith Ellison's extensive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas-linked CAIR, which Ellison is working hard to cover up:
The most recent salvo in the kerfuffle between Minnesota congressmen Michele Bachmann and Keith Ellison finds Ellison attacking Bachmann for her statements made on Glenn Beck’s radio program on Thursday, where she said:
GLENN:  Okay.  So when you wrote this letter, then Keith Ellison comes out.  And Keith Ellison is ‑‑ he has a record of being the Mafia hitman.
CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN:  Well, he has a long record of being associated with CAIR and with the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR is an unindicted co‑conspirator, as stated in the large terrorist financing case that we’ve had in the United States of America and so he came out and essentially wanted to shut down the inspectors general from even looking into any of the questions that we were asking. So he wanted to shut it down.  In response I wrote another letter back to Keith Ellison, a 16‑page letter which I would encourage all of your listeners to go and read this letter. It’s what I call a bulletproof letter. I have 59 footnotes with one example after another of the penetration of the Muslim Brotherhood into the federal government…

"All citizens must know the fundamental principles of political Sharia and resist its progress in every way."

Reviews of the book
Political Sharia
By Bill Warner, Director
Center for the Study of Political Islam
July 5, 2012

Islam is introducing Sharia into America under the guise of religious freedom. We are told that Sharia is religious law and, therefore, we should not worry about it. This is, at best, a half-truth.
To understand the Sharia, you MUST understand that it is completely based on the Koran and the Sunna of Mohammed (his words and actions that are the model for being a perfect Muslim). So, the Sharia is nothing more than a legal/social codification for every society to march in lock-step doing life’s smallest details modeled after what the Koran says and Mohammed said and did.

The biggest misunderstanding here is that Islam is simply a religion. If Islam were only a religion, it would not even exist today. And it would certainly not be feared. The story of Mohammed and the success of his mission is well known. The summary of it is in Islam’s growth curve:

Mohammed’s career had two stages, religious and political. As a religious leader he only converted about 150 Arabs into Muslims in his first 13 years in Mecca. When he went to Medina, he became a politician and a jihadist. Politics and jihad made Mohammed a success. When he died, every Arab was a Muslim. If he had stayed with religion, when he died there would have only be a few hundred Muslims and Islam would have collapsed. It was politics that made Mohammed a success and it was politics that made Islam a success for 1400 years.

Oklahoma Lawmaker's Bill Threatens To Arrest Any Federal Bureaucrat Who Attempts To Enforce Obamacare

Lawmaker To Put 'Teeth' In Anti-Obamacare Bill
By Drew Zahn
WND.com
July 21, 2012

If one Oklahoma lawmaker gets his way, any federal agent who comes the Sooner state trying to enforce the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – a.k.a. Obamacare – will face jail time, a $5,000 fine … or both.

State Rep. Mike Ritze, R-Broken Arrow, believes Obamacare is blatantly unconstitutional and it is his state’s right and responsibility to declare it “null and void” under the U.S. Constitution’s 10th Amendment, which states any powers not delegated to the federal government are “reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”

“I feel very strongly that the 10th Amendment is basically the watchdog of republic,” Ritze told WND. “The federal government was never intended to be as overreaching as it has been with Obama’s health-care act.”

Ritze authored a bill earlier this year, HB 1276, which essentially “nullified” Obamacare in Oklahoma, a controversial approach to fighting the law, but one Ritze believes is legal and justified.
“The Founding Fathers gave us nullification,” Ritze told WND. “James Madison and Thomas Jefferson spoke about it, in the Kentucky Compact, for example, asserting we [the states] created the federal government, not the other way around.”

Ritze cited several precedents, including when states in 1798 nullified the federal Sedition Act, which declared anyone openly speaking against the federal government could face charges of treason.
“They overruled it,” Ritze explained to the Tulsa Beacon. “States started saying they were not going to recognize it.”

Ritze also cited to WND the precedent of northern states during the Civil War that nullified federal laws requiring the return of runaway slaves and the recent example of his state of Oklahoma, which nullified the Real ID Act mandating states put microchips in drivers’ licenses. Twenty-two states don’t recognize federal laws against possession of marijuana, he said, including California, which boasts hundreds of businesses selling marijuana in violation of federal law.

Frederick Douglass Republicans Working To Free Blacks From The Democrat Plantation

Here Come the Closet Black Conservatives
By Pat Austin
AmericanThinker.com
July 21, 2012

Rev. C.L. Bryant is making waves with his new documentary, Runaway Slave.  I had the opportunity to preview the film in Bossier City, Louisiana, and I found the documentary thoroughly compelling.

Runaway Slave was conceived by Rev. Bryant and supported by private donations and FreedomWorks.  It has been well-received in private screenings so far, often receiving standing ovations, and is poised to open in select theaters across the country next week.  While at Regal Cinema 9 in Bossier City, it was the highest grossing film there.

Herman Cain caught a great deal of flak for his comment on the campaign trail that he "had left the Democratic plantation," but he's not the only one saying it.  Indeed, C.L. Bryant has now joined the ranks of a number of  black closet conservatives who are speaking out against big government, which is what they perceive to be the new plantation.   And the list of black conservatives finding the courage to speak out is growing.

Joining Bryant in this documentary are famous faces like Herman Cain, Allen West, Thomas Sowell, AlfonZo Rachel, and Alveda King.  Sirius radio host David Webb speaks out, and we meet a host of other black conservatives who share their stories such as Mason Weaver, Marvin D. Rogers, and K. Carl Smith, who is the founder of Frederick Douglass Republicans and subscribes to the "four life-affirming values of Douglass: respect for life, respect for the Constitution, belief in limited government and individual responsibility."

Reason to Hate: Barack Obama's Racist Roots
By Rusty Weiss and Cliff Kincaid
AIM.org
July 17, 2012

The morning after Election Day, 2008, The New York Times proclaimed that Barack Obama’s victory had swept “away the last racial barrier in American politics.” However, as the President’s first term draws to a close, a case can be made that the historic election was anything but post-racial; rather, it has been the most racially polarizing presidency in modern times.

This is not a surprise, however, to those familiar with Obama’s background and thinking on racial matters, nor to those who have studied the role played by Communist Frank Marshall Davis in raising him as a young man in Hawaii during his critical coming of age period. Davis was not only a slavish follower of Joseph Stalin, but a black racist who saw sinister white plots in the foreign policies of the United States and other Western nations.

Davis, a poet and writer, had written a controversial poem, “Christ is a Dixie Nigger,” dismissing the object of the Christian faith as “another New White Hope.”

Obama’s own book, Dreams from My Father, talks about asking “Frank” for advice when his white grandmother had been accosted by a black panhandler. Davis told Obama that his grandmother was right to be scared and that “She understands that black people have reason to hate.”

Paul Kengor’s new book, The Communist. Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, examines the Davis mentality and ideology which shaped Obama in more detail. As Kengor’s book documents, Davis:
  • Considered American racism a “disease” that “Red Russia” had solved
  • Wrote in a column on July 20, 1946, that the Soviet Union had, “in less than a generation,” abolished “discrimination and racism”
  • Wrote that “the only people” Winston Churchill cared about were “the white people of the British empire”
  • Labeled the Marshall Plan for Western Europe after World War II a form of white imperialism, designed to “help maintain European empires at the expense of exploited dark colonial peoples”
  • Considered anti-communism a form of racism
Some of this information about Davis was available in 2008, when Accuracy in Media disclosed the fact that Obama’s mentor “Frank” in his book, Dreams from My Father, was actually Frank Marshall Davis. We noted that, by Obama’s own account, Davis had subjected the young man to racial advice and diatribes. However, the Kengor book draws upon many of Davis’s columns, published in Communist papers in Chicago and Hawaii, where these views were put into print. Hence, it expands our understanding of Davis—and therefore Obama. What’s more, Kengor looks at Davis’s views in terms of Obama’s policies as President.

Far-Left Socialist Appointed To Head Bureau of Labor Statistics

Obama Puts Far-Left Erica Groshen In Key Labor Post
By Bill Wilson
Investor's Business Daily
July 18, 2012

Five months ago Barack Obama nominated union backer, liberal economist and Federal Reserve bureaucrat Erica Groshen to lead the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) — the agency best known for calculating the nation's unemployment rate each month.

Obviously Groshen's nomination was yet another sop to organized labor — which doled out big dollars and major manpower to help elect Obama in 2008 (and which has already been rewarded handsomely for its efforts).

It was also yet another endorsement of the failed Keynesian interventionism that Obama has continued to foist on our private sector ever since he was elected — with disastrous consequences for our nation's economy.

But this particular appointment represents much more than just another lifetime left winger being tapped by Obama to fill a lofty taxpayer-funded perch. For starters, Groshen's background is more explicitly linked to overt anti-American ideologies than any Obama appointee since his infamous "green jobs czar" Van Jones.

Such radical ideological moorings are cause for real concern given that Groshen is being asked to preside over an agency where the inviolability of hard, methodologically obtained data — not the specter of ideological influence — is vital to maintaining institutional neutrality and credibility.

Exclusive - The Vetting: Like My 'Compressed' Ex-Girlfriend, Obama Was 'An Ardent Marxist Socialist' In College
By John C. Drew
Breitbart.com
July 18, 2012

[Regina] told me about her childhood in Chicago, the absent father and struggling mother, the South Side's six-flat that never seemed warm enough in winter and got so hot in the summer that people went out by the lake to sleep....Her voice evoked a vision of black life in all its possibility, a vision that filled me with longing--a longing for place, and a fixed and definite history. As we were getting up to leave, I told Regina I envied her. "For what?" "I don't know. For your memories, I guess."

That passage, from Obama's (first) autobiography, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance (pp. 158-9), describes "Regina," a young black woman at Occidental College who he claimed was crucial to his political awakening. She even encouraged him to drop "Barry" in favor of "Barack." He envied her confidence, and her memories--so much so, in fact, that he made them up. Not only was "Regina" not from the poor South Side of Chicago, but she was not even black.
I know, because she was my girlfriend at the time.

When the president of the United States feels utterly free to bash private enterprise and the now-deceased Protestant work ethic, and even tries to criminalize it, you know we have entered uncharted waters in American political history.

Not since the Copperhead Democrats tried to appease the South and derail the Lincoln presidency have the Democrats been such an explicitly anti-American party. The relatively moderate party of JFK and Hubert Humphrey was hijacked in the streets of Saul Alinsky’s Chicago in 1968 and at the Miami Beach convention of 1972, which nominated George McGovern, and was transformed into a radical group that can no longer contain its animus against our country, our history, and our Constitution.

All eminently predictable, of course.

I’ve often called the Democrats a “criminal organization masquerading as a political party” — please read my brief  new book on the subject, The People v. the Democratic Party, now available on Amazon, for chapter and verse. But the current rogues calling themselves “Democrats” are, as I pointed out last year over on NRO, especially dangerous:
For years now, I’ve been saying that the modern Democratic party is the unholy issue of thirties gangsters and sixties Marxists, a criminal organization masquerading as a political party, composed of thugs, lawyers, layabouts, and guilt-ridden dupes, and motivated entirely by a lust for power disguised as the phony virtue of “compassion.” And I mean that in the nicest possible way: The Republicans could use a little — no, make that a lot — of their ruthless moxie.

Video: Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Press Conference Reveals Birth Certificate Fraud & A National Security Issue

Posted on 7:15 AM by Unknown
Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse have been investigating claims that President Obama's birth certificate, which the White House published on its website in April 2011, is a forged document.

In March 2012 Arpaio held a press conference to reveal the posse's initial findings. The results of their six-month investigation are available in an e-book, which is a transcription of the first press conference.  At the press conference the officials explained their findings and presented video evidence demonstrating how the document was forged.  Afterwards, instead of asking questions about the evidence, the journalists simply attacked the messengers.  The journalists arrived with preconceived notions about the motives of the investigation, and were totally incurious about the extensive evidence.

Since then, Arpaio's team has done more investigation to determine the meaning of handwritten numbers that appear in various boxes where there is also text.  For example, in the box asking for the race of the father, the birth certificate says "African" and nearby is a handwritten number 9.  The investigators found the woman whose signature appears on the document.  She said the number was a code which the registrar used to indicate that the person reporting the birth did not provide an answer to the question.  If so, why does "African" appear in the box?  The document conflicts with itself.   Furthermore, in 1961, "African" was not used as a race indicator by the registrar.  That word did not become a part of the lexicon until the 80s.  There were also anomalies with the birth certificate number, which is out of batch sequence.

Arpaio's investigation also discovered a very disturbing problem with Hawaii's issuance of birth certificates, which the investigators say affects national security and the naturalization and immigration process.  Hawaii apparently allows anyone who has resided in the state for a year to report a birth without attestation, including births of children born anywhere in the world.  By doing so, they have for decades potentially been conferring citizenship on people not born in the U.S.  Hawaii's state law bypasses the legal naturalization process.

At the very least, Congress needs to investigate Hawaii's law and procedures.  Arpaio also believes congressional hearings should be held to investigate the document posted on the White House website.

Socialist? Communist? Three Questions For Obama
By Paul Kengor
AmericanThinker.com
July 18, 2012

The intrepid New York Times stoically took up the task of considering whether its president, Barack Obama, is a socialist or a communist.  Pause right there: anyone familiar with the Times knows how that process would unfold.  Namely, the Times would find someone with some credibility on the issue to provide -- surprise! -- an answer in the negative.  Obama a socialist or communist?  Come on!  Never!

True to form -- that is, the form of a transparently biased leftist organ masquerading as an objective news source -- the Times found Milos Forman, a Czech émigré who long ago came to Hollywood to make movies.  Forman's answer?  Again, a shocker: Obama is not a socialist or a communist.  Thus satisfied, the Times faithful gave their assent.  Ah, it is gospel truth, amen.

The analysis offered by Forman was so specious that I will not bother detailing it here.  My fellow Cold War researcher, Ron Radosh, God bless him, accepted the painful task.  You can read Radosh's spot-on analysis in PJ Media.

In short, this is why I quit reading the New York Times.  I can't stand the dishonesty.  And to know that so many liberals digest it like their daily bread, with unquestioning devotion, makes it too much to endure.  I, for one, will not subject myself to the duping.
But back to the basic question: is Obama a socialist or a communist?

Words, Just Words Prove Obama's Policy Link To Communist Frank Marshall Davis, His Favorite Mentor

Posted on 12:31 PM by Unknown
As A Teen, Obama Deeply Influenced By Communist Mentor
By Paul Kengor
Investor's Business Daily
July 16, 2012

He blasted Wall Street, big business, big banks, big oil, "excess profits," "corporate profits" and "fat contracts," "millionaires" and the "wealthy."

He called out the "corporation executive" for not paying his "fair" share.

He attacked "GOP" tax cuts that "spare the rich" and "benefit millionaires."

He trumpeted the public sector over the private sector.

He advocated wealth redistribution from greedy "corporations" to "health insurance" and "public works projects."

He favored taxpayer-funding of universal health care. He supported government stimulus to rescue America from (allegedly) another Great Depression.

He wanted to rid America of "huge funds" finding their way into the "pockets" of "Wall Street." "Instead," he declared, "money should be spent for the benefit of the people instead of the corporations."

He supported nationalization and singled out General Motors for government action.

He favored the Russians at the expense of countries like Poland and Czechoslovakia.

He rejected Winston Churchill, and wanted the heralded prime minister nowhere within the White House.

He insisted that American foreign policy was about "big profits" for big oil.

He cited the American Founders and the U.S. Constitution, and described himself and his policies as "progressive," while his detractors accused him of being a communist.

He adopted slogans like "Forward" and "Change." He wanted to transform America through what he called "fundamental change."

Who is this man?

If you answered "Barack Obama," you're only half right. The answer is Frank Marshall Davis, Hawaii mentor to Barack Obama, and Communist Party USA (CPUSA) member No. 47544.

TWA Flight 800 Coverup Continues 16 Years Later

TWA Flight 800:  16 Years and Still No Questions
By Jack Cashill
AmericanThinker.com

I got involved in one of the two great media scandals of our time -- the Obama ascendancy being the other -- fully by happenstance.

In the year 2000, investigative reporter James Sanders came to Kansas City to talk about his research into the fate of TWA flight 800, the plane that crashed into the waters off Long Island on July 17, 1996, sixteen years ago today.

Sanders chose Kansas City because the town had historically been the headquarters for TWA.  As a result, many pilots, mechanics, and flight attendants still lived there.  The audience was filled with them.  Almost to a person, they believed what he was saying -- the plane had been shot out of the sky.

Afterwards, I went out to dinner with James and his wife, Elizabeth, and a dozen other people.  I sat next to Elizabeth, a sweet, unassuming former TWA flight attendant and trainer of Philippine descent.  She told me in painful detail how at one of the many memorials she attended after the crash -- 53 TWA employees were among the 230 killed -- she ran into an old friend, Captain Terrell Stacey.
Stacey had flown the 747 that would become TWA Flight 800 from Paris to New York the night before it was destroyed.  In fact, he was in charge of all TWA 747 pilot activity within the airline.  So it was logical that he would be among the first TWA employees assigned to the crash investigation.
Elizabeth thought of Stacey as "a straight arrow, go-by-the-rules kind of guy" and respected him for it.  After a phone introduction arranged by Elizabeth, James Sanders and Terrell Stacey agreed to meet.  "What he told me over those first hours," Sanders would later tell me, "was one thing: 'I know there's a cover-up in progress.'"

As a result of that one introduction, the FBI arrested Elizabeth and oversaw her conviction on federal conspiracy charges.  James and Stacey had been arrested, too.  The crime?  Stacey had sent Sanders a tiny piece of foam rubber to have tested.

NAACP Furthers Mission of KKK

Posted on 6:09 AM by Unknown
By Lloyd Marcus
Proud Unhyphenated American
Chairman: CampaignToDefeatObama.com

In the heat of passion during a radio interview, I said,“The NAACP, Congressional Black Caucus and Democratic Party are more destructive to blacks than the KKK!”

After the radio show, I thought my statement may have been a bit over the top. Upon further thought, I concluded that my statement is true. Before calling me crazy, please hear me out.

The mission of the KKK is to stifle black liberation via intimidation which is exactly what the modern black civil rights coalition continues to do to blacks. Both organizations despise self-starter, self-reliant and free thinking blacks.

The primary mission of the black civil rights coalition (NAACP/ CBC) and Democratic Party is to keep black Americans believing themselves eternal victims of an eternally racist white America. Many blacks have been successfully indoctrinated into believing every problem in the black community is the result of white oppression.

This is why the black civil rights coalition verbally brutalized black actor/comedian Bill Cosby for suggesting that blacks embrace moral responsibility, hard work and self-reliance to solve problems in their community.

This is also why the black civil rights coalition hates two of the most powerful blacks on the planet; Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Thomas and Rice achieved extraordinary success competing without special concessions or lowered standards due to their race. The KKK shares the black civil rights coalition's disdain for such uppity self-reliant “n------”.

As I stated, the mission of the KKK is to suppress blacks. The black civil rights coalition has assisted in the fulfillment of the KKK's mission for decades.

Democratic Party failed-policies supported by the black civil rights coalition have destroyed the black family and sparked epidemic out-of-wedlock births. They have created fatherless black boys who run to gangs in search of male bonding. Blacks are disproportionately represented in prisons, have epidemic high school dropout rates and genocidal levels of black abortions – all due to Democrat led government intrusion.

Yes, monolithic loyal voting for Democrats has truly paid off for blacks. It would be fitting and proper for the KKK to send the black civil rights coalition a “Thank You” card for wreaking such havoc in the black community.

A black man in the White House is the ultimate symbol of America's repentance from her sin of slavery. And yet, to preserve its relevance, the black civil rights coalition strives to convince blacks that race relations have progressed very little since the 1950s. Meanwhile, President Obama is the huge black elephant – or perhaps, I should say donkey – in America's living room proving otherwise.

The NAACP further revealed its true colors when Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed its members at their convention.

Clearly, this once-great organization, which comprised champions of civil rights, has morphed into a shameful liberal activist hate group. They do not give-a-hoot about real black empowerment. Their mission is solely to advance a far-left, liberal, socialist/progressive and anti-America agenda. The NAACP has sold its soul for a seat at its white liberal massa's table. This disgraceful bunch no longer deserves our respect.

The NAACP called Romney offensive for speaking about family values, self-reliance, character and hard work – values touted by MLK.

The liberal NAACP audience wanted Romney to give an Obama type speech proclaiming that business owners are rich selfish SOBs! They wanted Romney to vow to punish achievers and redistribute their ill-gotten gain (earnings) to black America. Such a speech would have won Romney a standing ovation.

This is why, as a black conservative, I have disassociated myself from the evil low-rent modern black civil rights coalition. They consistently appeal to black America's lower nature, promoting victimhood-ism, class envy and racial hatred. I refuse to be a part of such a bottom-feeding mindset.

Also, there are grave consequences associated with constantly telling blacks they need lower standards and special concessions to succeed. Such bigotry of low expectations sends a not-so-subliminal message to blacks. The message is blacks are intellectually challenged and inferior. The KKK could not do a better job of negatively impacting the self-esteem of black Americans.

Further insulting blacks is the black civil rights coalition's argument that requiring a photo ID to vote will disenfranchise black voters. In essence, they are saying blacks are too stupid to find their way to acquire a photo ID. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/237031-holder-pledges-aggressive-fight-against-texas-voter-identification-law

A photo ID is required to board an airplane, cash a check and do a host of other things. But somehow, acquiring a photo ID is too challenging for blacks. It appears the KKK, black civil rights coalition and Democratic Party all agree that blacks are just not as smart as whites.

The black civil rights coalition and the Democrats have a cow when conservative Republicans bring up morality. They are outraged when conservatives suggest that it might be problematic that 73% of black babies are born out of wedlock. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/doj-alum-racial-profiling-hearing-calls-crimes-out-wedlock-births-black-community

Here is what the Obama administration, praised by the black civil rights coalition, considers black empowerment. Proudly declared as an effort to assist black America, the Obama administration announced it has softened the penalty for possession of crack cocaine. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2899824/posts

I suspect the KKK cheered, “Right on brothers! Right on!”

ObamaCare and UN Arms Trade Treaty

Posted on 9:40 AM by Unknown

Beginning with the FDR administration's New Deal and increasing the population's need and misinterpretation as to what are entitlements during the LB Johnson administration's Great Society programs, too many Americans have become dependent upon the government being brainwashed into thinking government is better than private sector charity programs.
If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists - to protect them and to promote their common welfare - all else is lost.
Barack Obama

As John Stossel wrote upon the subject:
I once thought there was too much poverty for private charity to make much of a difference. Now I realize that private charity would do much more—if government hadn’t crowded it out. In the 1920s—the last decade before the Roosevelt administration launched its campaign to federalize nearly everything—30 percent of American men belonged to mutual aid societies, groups of people with similar backgrounds who banded together to help members in trouble. They were especially common among minorities. Mutual aid societies paid for doctors, built orphanages, and cooked for the poor. Neighbors knew best what neighbors needed. They were better at making judgments about who needs a handout and who needed a kick in the rear. They helped the helpless, but administered tough love to the rest. They taught self-sufficiency. Mutual aid didn’t solve every problem, so government stepped in. But government didn’t solve every problem either. Instead, it caused more problems by driving private charity out. Today, there are fewer mutual-aid societies, because people say, ‘We already pay taxes for HUD, HHS. Let the professionals do it.’ Big Government tells both the poor and those who would help them, ‘Don’t try.’... When you rely on the government to help those who need it, you don’t practice benevolence yourself. You don’t take responsibility for deciding whom to help. Just as public assistance discourages the poor from becoming independent by rewarding them with fixed handouts, it discourages the rest of us from being benevolent. This may be the greatest irony of the welfare state: It not only encourages the poor to stay dependent, it kills individuals’ desire to help them.
And what Mary Katherine Ham wrote:
I don’t believe an individual’s commitment to helping the less fortunate can be measured by the amount of money one thinks the government should take from others. Having money taken from you does not make you charitable. Conversely, believing the government should leave people’s hard-earned money alone does not make one uncharitable. Rather, the charity is in the giving... I believe private charity could assuage most of the problems the government purports to solve with programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Head Start, and welfare. And it can conquer Katrina, too... Federal and local government programs, of course, is making huge efforts and progress as well. The military and police, needless to say, are always invaluable in search and rescue efforts. I don’t mean to diminish the good work those public servants have done and will continue to do saving and rebuilding lives. What I do say is that private charity allows the generosity and ingenuity of Americans to meet the unpredictability of life head on in a way a staid government program never could.
The United States Constitution has two references of welfare and it is worded as: the General Welfare(of the People), one being in the Preambleand the other in the Taxing and Spending Clause. i
The welfare state is not really about the welfare of the masses. It is about the egos of the elites.
Thomas Sowell
The US Supreme Court, in the past, has upheld that the clause in the Preamble to the US Constitution –
has never been regarded as the source of any substantive power conferred on the Government of the United States or on any of its Departments. ii
In the Taxing and Spending Clause, the Supreme Court determined that it –
adheres to the construction given it by Associate Justice Joseph Story in his 1833 Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States. iii
Justice Story determined that the General Welfare Clause contained in the General Welfare Clause is not a grant of general legislative power, ivbut a qualification on the taxing power vwhich includes it a federal power to spend federal revenues on matters of general interest to the federal government. vi
The result is that those clauses in the US Constitution are not for the government to be required to provide welfare to some citizens at the expense of other citizens and is not considered grants of a general legislative power to the federal government.
Alexander Hamilton, our first Secretary of Treasury, patriot and Founder, coincided with Joseph Story's commentaries and elaborated the taxing and spending powers in his 1791 Report on Manufactures.
The tyranny of a prince in an oligarchy is not so dangerous to the public welfare as the apathy of a citizen in a democracy.
Charles de Montesquieu
Within the US government archives and disclosed by the US Government Printing Office, p. 161 of the Constitution of the United States of America – Analysis and Interpretation, p. 161:
The clause, in short, is not an independent grant of power, but a qualification of the taxing power.
This may be part of the source where Chief Justice Johnson used to make his decision not to decide that the so-called ObamaCare cannot be legislated because it is not in the power of the government according to the Constitution of the United States and declaring that the penalty provided in the clause of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act can only be constitutional if it is a tax. Or, in his decision, he was playing the “Devil's Advocate” and making way for the legislative branch to do its duty and repeal that unconstitutional legislation. But that is not the purpose or required task of a Supreme Court Justice – the nine justices are chosen (or should be chosen by proper appointment) on the basis that they protect the integrity of the articles and amendments of the Constitution and interpretit only to clarify judgment in individual cases brought before them for their decision. Instead, like the two other branches of government, the Supreme Court has become a legislative entity operating from the judicial bench instead of their sworn oath purpose; using foreign laws in their decisions as well as public opinion or current political philosophies.
The argument whether the penalty clause in the ObamaCare legislation is a tax is moot because the legislation in itself is unconstitutional and outside the prescribed limitations of the federal government within the law of the land – the Constitution of the United States and its amendments. American citizens are as much to blame as those operating OUR government on OUR behalf, for they have come to believe that entitlements established unlawfully are their right. Therefore, we must endeavor to encourage that all Americans know THEIR Constitution and its amendments in order to help safeguard its integrity and its implementation. The US Constitution, for the most part, is written in understandable language and does not require a law degree or a BA in political science to understand its articles and amendments. Therefore, it is every American citizen's duty to self educate themselves in knowing their Constitution in order to ensure that it is being adhered to by the elected officials in government, both state and federal, for the maintenance and preservation of the republic as a free nation For the People and By the People.

UN ARMS TREATY
Recently, another important issue has come to the forefront of discussion: the United Nations Arms Treatythat is to be decided during the month of July with a vote on July 27thfor national leaders of nation members to sign. In the United States, that treaty, as in all treaties, must be ratified by the Senate of the US Congress.
Before I begin my reasons of protest concerning this treaty, I would like to denounce chain email misinformation that has made the Internet circuit passed on by people who do not look for reputable sources before forwarding.
First, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while advocating US involvement in this treaty and agreeing with President BH Obama, has not signed the United Nations Small Arms Treaty.
Second, despite questionable actions of President BH Obama in circumventing constitutional procedures, no treaty can bypass the normal legislative process of Congress because it must be approved by a two-thirds vote of the US Senate before they are considered to be binding.
Thirdly, while it is feared that this treaty, if signed by the President of the United States and ratified by the US Senate will be a prelude to mass gun control violating the right to keep and bear armsguaranteed by the Constitution of the United States, and in the 1957 US Supreme Court case of Reid v. Covertdeclaring that the US Constitution supersedes international treaties ratified by the US Senate.
And finally, there is email stating that Australia passed gun control that gathered up personal firearms and destroyed them with outrageous statistical figures that do not correspond to factual statistics. See Snopes on that subject.
Amnesty International, Oxfam, and International Action Network on Small Arms (leader of the Control Arms Campaign) advocating this treaty provided the effects of what the Arms Trade Treaty would interpret as:
  • be used in serious violation of international human rights or humanitarian law, or acts of genocide or crimes against humanity;
  • facilitate terrorist attacks, a pattern of gender based violence, violent crime or organized crime;
  • violate UN Charter obligations, including UN arms embargoes;
  • be diverted from its stated recipient;
  • adversely affect regional security; or
  • seriously impair poverty reduction or socioeconomic development.
Loopholes, according to this plan would be minimized because it would include:
  • all weapons – including all military, security and police arms, related equipment and ammunition, components, expertise, and production equipment;
  • all types of transfer – including import, export, re-export, temporary transfer and transhipment, in the state sanctioned and commercial trade, plus transfers of technology, loans, gifts and aid; and
  • all transactions – including those by dealers and brokers, and those providing technical assistance, training, transport, storage, finance and security.
The treaty must be fully clear in its implementation, but considering the United Nations history, their effectiveness in enforcement and abuse of the treaty remains questionable. Indeed, there has been corruption and violation within the United Nations non-elected members where even they violated their own embargo and/or sanction mandates – as against Saddam Hussein in the Oil for Food Programmescandal.
The most damning element against this UN treaty and the United Nations itself is that nations that are guilty of human rights and violations of sanctions for weapons proliferation are part of this endeavor to control guns worldwide. So it is no wonder that the American people and people who believe in freedom and the right to keep and bear arms for the purpose of self defense and legal hunting are concerned that this is just a facade for the long-term goals of the United Nation member body. Indeed, being an international body in order to solve differences between nations and punish rogue nations who violate world peace and human rights, its original purpose, have nation members who are tyrants and against all the principles of freedom and human dignity as part of their legislative body.
The United Nations headquarters should be removed from US soil and notice be given to vacate within a prescribed period of time – and the US government, its legislative body and executive administration should seriously consider dissolving our involvement with that corrupt entity, especially in the form of funding. In an economic crisis this would be one of the prudent things to do in order to get a handle on the national debt, as well as standing up for principles that the United Nation non-elected members do not either understand or wish to comply.
It is clear why We the People of the United States and free-thinking people of other nations are concerned about this proposed international treaty when it comes to firearm/weapon control. Our Founders knew full well what happens when a government implements gun control that eventually leads to confiscation – every statistic points to the uselessness of such a political ideology; and indeed points to the ulterior motives behind gun control and outright banning of means of self defense from the citizens of any nation.
Crimes against humanity are not deterred or stopped because of gun control and/or confiscation by government authorities.
History provides clear results:
  • 1911 – Turkey (Ottoman Empire) established gun control and from 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians were exterminated.
  • 1929 – Soviet Union established gun control and from 1929 to 1953 approximately 20 million dissidents or anyone considered dangerous to the government were unable to defend themselves and were exterminated and/or sent to Siberian work camps.
  • 1935 – The Nazi regime of Germany established gun control and 13 million Jews and other ethnic and political people were exterminated.
  • 1935 – China established gun control at the same time Nazi Germany did and the Chinese people were unable to defend themselves from tyranny at home and invasion by Japanese. From 1948 to 1952, when Communism was implemented, people were sent to political reeducation-work camps and/or exterminated.
  • 1956 – In Cambodia, gun control was established and from 1975 to 1977 one million “educated” people were exterminated.
  • 1964 – Guatemala established gun control and from 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan natives were exterminated.
  • 1970 – Uganda established gun control and from 1971 to 1979, 30,000 Christians could not defend themselves and were exterminated.
  • Today – North Korea has gun control in effect for some time, and now has the largest concentration camp in the history of the world, surpassing the size and scope of the Nazi death camps. I could not find sufficient data to reveal how many have died from the tyranny of North Korea's regime over the decades.
A government that insists that citizens not have the right to keep and use firearms for self defense against foreign and domestic enemies cannot be trusted. If the Second Amendment is dissolved, so then, in turn, will the other amendments of the Bill of Rights dissolve, one by one.
Our government was established by wise and visionary men who not only established a Constitution to limit the power of government and prescribe what its powers are, but included amendments that is called the Bill of Rightsthat is written to ensure that all citizens have certain rights and liberties, especially the basics of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
In conclusion, I fully understand the desire and need to keep firearms out of reach, or less likely to obtain, by organized crime elements and criminals in general; however, gun control laws in American history has shown that harassing and violating rights of lawful citizens only creates the scenario where only criminals (and police/military) have firearms – and the police and military cannot be everywhere at one time. Self defense measures require quick consideration and action, long before any law enforcement agents can arrive on the scene. Most police reports are made of crimes after the violent act has been committed instead of writing a report of a citizen defending his/her property, life, and the safety of family and fellow citizens. It is long past due for the time for mainstream media to include with reports of crimes using firearms mixed with reports of citizens saving lives and defending themselves using a firearm.
It is the main problem with media bias and manipulation we have today, along with its manipulation of political news that results in misinformed voters.
It would be an hypocrisy of our government to sign a treaty that is against our principles of government and the articles and amendments of the United States Constitution.
